Welcome to another episode of the Instant Impact podcast with your host, Elyse Archer! Today’s guest is Danny Bader, keynote speaker, author, coach, and incredible individual. He’s one of the very few people who have actually died and returned to life. For eight minutes, Danny was dead. He’s here to share his journey and how this experience influences what he teaches and his role as a facilitator.
Danny shares his set of five principles, called jckrbbt that he developed to help uplevel his own life, and those around him. Develop Vision. This is the ability to imagine what needs to be real. This skill is incredibly useful when you are feeling stuck or lost, and need a direction to go.
Be still. This is the journaling, the meditation, the breathing exercises. They create space for thought and emotion without immediate action. Know thyself. Your talents, your strengths, your purpose, and the things you value are all essential things to learn about yourself. Knowing your beliefs about your past, present, and future is vital. Seek Support. This one speaks for itself. Sometimes we go through difficult times. It’s important to allow yourself to be supported by friends, family, professionals, anyone you connect with. Evolve. The willingness to accept growth and change. This principle is simply repeating the previous four principles. There is a reservoir of resilience within all of us. Danny and Elyse discuss the difference between living and how we can tap into these principles to cultivate our intentional, meaningful mindfulness.
