Elyse’s guest this week on the podcast is someone who has experienced an incredible personal journey and made momentous changes in her life. Her name is Allyson Chavez. She went from $150,000 in debt and 45lbs overweight to making over 200,000 a year and enjoying life. Now, Allyson is a prosperity transformation coach and teaches others how to manage their thoughts and energy so they can get out of their own way, consistently hit their targets, and love their lives as they redesign their reality.

Today, Allyson is sitting down to talk with us about the tactical mindset she’s adopted, how she thinks about money, and how she did it all in such a short period of time. Allyson’s journey is one from rock bottom to soaring success. She found herself at a point of ‘financial armageddon’ where she was spending more than she could afford, leaving her in 90k of personal credit card debt. She loved what she was doing, but she wasn’t in a healthy place. So, she made a dramatic mindset shift. She set goals that seemed impossible and achieved them. Then, she applied those tactics to her business and to her body. Her income exploded exponentially once she learned how money actually worked.

To change her mindset, Allyson discusses understanding the conscious mind and the unconscious mind. The conscious mind is that voice that you hear that tells you to work towards your results. The unconscious mind works towards manifesting your beliefs. Between results and beliefs, your beliefs will always win out. Additionally, understand that what you want already exists in some dimension. All you need to do is pull it from the idea reality to the physical realm.

As far as money goes, many people make it God. The truth is, money is a channel, not a source. It’s here to bless your life. Money has functions–they are to help you expand and uplift your life–not bring security. There is nothing expansive about being comfortable!

Allyson shares one of her universal laws: the law of compensation. This law says equal returns must be given for what is given forth. Basically, whatever you give out, you will get back. In terms of money, when you give value to the marketplace, in order for the universe to bring balance, you will be given value. When you are in service, it is repaid! She touches on what we can do if it doesn’t feel like it’s coming naturally, and how we can make quantum leaps in our mindset as far as working hard goes. Success doesn’t have to be nose to the grindstone! For example, when Allyson got to the point where everything fell apart, she made money the bad guy. It only brought anxiety–if that’s what money means, who would want anything to do with it? When she made the choice that struggle wasn’t necessary, things shifted in a major way. You never see a flower forcing itself to grow! Not being available for the struggle is an essential step.

From there, you can acknowledge and appreciate everything that is working for you! Hair ties that don’t break, a good water bottle, you name it. Noticing good brings good.
