As we grow and manifest our goals, intrusive thoughts can creep in and hinder our progress. There are some intentional steps you can take to disallow those thoughts and continue on your upward trajectory. Elyse shares with us three key strategies to keep your outlook positive: Do the daily work. This is SO important. In a nutshell, this is your morning routine. Visualizing and affirming yourself is critical. See yourself at the level you’re trying to reach! See yourself as someone who has that influence, that recognition, that bank account. You’re already that person! Make sure the outside and the inside are aligned.

Only allow positive thoughts into your mind. This is certainly easier said than done, but being the gatekeeper of your own thoughts can be incredibly liberating. Noticing negative thoughts and dismissing them prevents them from ruminating in your mind. What you focus on takes over your mentality–don’t allow that to be a bad thing. Focus only on achieving the outcome you want and be unavailable for anything else. Having a losing mindset is NOT the way to go. The losing mindset is “If it happens, great. If it doesn’t, oh well.” If you’re going to win, you have to only be available to win. We often try to protect our ego from disappointment, but that sets yourself up to fail. Until you decide an outcome is a MUST, you will continue to hit those walls.
